The Mighty Niagara

Feeling a bit of cabin fever lately. When the winter weather diminishes, I guess I get restless and suffer spring fever. That in turn gives way to wanderlust. So a trip to Buffalo was in order. I visited the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens which was featuring an astronomical spring flower display. I never saw so many intense colors or smelled so many flowers all at once! Afterwards, we drove up to Niagara Falls. I am always in awe of their beauty. Even a photo depicts their power. The platform to view the Canadian falls on Goat Island was cordoned off because ice and snow covered it so we couldn't get as close as in milder weather. Also, the mist was very intense.
