Sidetracked

These tracks appeared a couple of weeks ago.

I'm guessing:

A) A vehicle has driven onto the grass but managed to backtrack precisely over the same marks.

B) It drove there and suddenly disappeared, or

C) It misjudged the road, launched across the A168, clearing the far hedge and landed in the field beyond.

I will confess I haven't checked the field for evidence for option C.
