Whooper swan

This morning we went to Burton Mere to look for birds. We saw a lot , the most exciting being a goldcrest. It was in some brambles but moved so fast and there were brambles and leaves in the way. I got a couple of back views but no really good shots. This is a whooper swan , there were four altoghether including one of last year's young. It was so cold that it has taken us a while to thaw out!
