Green texture

This bit of wall that edges the front garden is moss covered and it is a nice bit of colour at this time of year. I presume this is moss, but whether there is also lichen I have no idea. I know nothing about moss or lichen, I was taking photos for the colour and textures that I want to use in my next textile project. It was only when I realised I had taken no other photos that I decided to use this. I think everyone will be fed up of my fabric/stitching posts anyway and that would have been the alternative. 

We are getting through the hours of 'The Beatles: Get Back’' and are mesmerised by it. So amazing to watch music being created.
