Double Date

My Dear Princess and Dear Friends,

Today Caro and I went to see "House of Gucci" with El Jefe and Manda. 

Oh, it was also the day that NZ went to Alert Level Red because omicron has been detected in the community. 

But basically the only difference between yesterday and today is that the size of gatherings is now limited to 100 and Loulou dropped out of the movie. 

I really enjoyed the film. This isn't to say I can claim it is a good film it is more true to say that I enjoy - 

OUTFITS! and 
MUSIC! and
INTRIGUE! and 
MURDER! and
SILLY ACCENTS!

"House of Gucci" delivers all of these, plus Lady Gaga who I have decided I really like as an actress. She is just adorable in the early parts of the film, even though you know she is about to turn into a complete radgy psycho lady. 

I found her endearing anyway. Maybe that says more about me than about the film.

And then there were the scenes between Al Pacino and Jared Leto. They seemed to have some sort of bet on between them as to who could eat the most scenery. Now it says something about Jared Leto that - even with Al Pacino going AT FULL BLAST - Leto still wins. Hands down. Not even close. 

Afterward we had burgers at a nearby pub with Jefe and Manda and it was fun just to hang out and talk nonsense as we tend to do. They told us all about their road-trip adventures over Xmas and we ended up agreeing to meet up again soon. 

It was a very pleasurable Sunday. Although I now-ah have-ah theeeee urge-ah to talk lahk-ah THEEEEEEES alla da tahm-ah.
