Railway hotel - view from our window.

As you probabaly know, when the railways were in their glory days at the start of the last century they built splendid hotels. Some, of course, no longer exist or are run down but some have taken on their own life. This is a part of the Southern Railways hotel (it says so over some of the doors) now better known as the Grosvenor where we stayed before setting off to Chamonix.
Trev is brilliant at finding on-line offers which is why we could afford to stay here. Of course this is the sort of place we usually stay!
