Robin Redbreast
Yesterday it was a beautiful day so I decided to head over the short distance to Forest Farm to take some photos of the birdlife down there. Took some bird food along too to hopefully get some good shots.
So bird food was suitably placed on one of the bird tables there and within seconds, there were robins, great and blue tits surrounding the bird table. Great, I thought, going to get some cracking shots here; pressed the shutter and......no SD card!!!!!! Aaarghh!!! Couldn't believe it!
So on the way back from church today we decided to pop down there for a walk along the canal and this time made sure said SD card was in the camera.
Walked down to one of the bird tables and hey presto lots of birds to photograph. So out came the camera again and started snapping away. I took about 20 shots and what happens??!!.... Battery dies!!!! At least I managed to get this shot of a lovely Robin. Also got close to a heron that was wandering through the pools alongside the canal, would've got some lovely shots of him if my battery hadn't died! Had to make do with my phone camera to snap some shots!!
So lesson learned today is to invest in a spare camera battery and SD card!!
