Transit

I would really like to know what kind of birds I saw today (ducks? or even lapwings?).
Could be it's one of the flocks surprised by this unusual spring cold and waiting it out here before flying farther north.
The local newspaper was talking about the phenomenon last week - many unusual birds sighted in the Landstuhler Bruch lately.
