Another Brambling

The mixed flock of birds was in the garden again a lot today,  they like to rest in the tree which is in my neighbour’s garden but overhangs mine. I cannot resist another photo of one of the Brambling, they have the most beautiful plumage and being a new bird to me this year, I am making the most of their visits! This one has a much paler head than the dark coloured one from yesterday, at first I thought it may be a female and the darker one a male, but I now think this is a juvenile male but happy to be corrected!
