Still life
After such a busy weekend, today has also been so busy trying to catch up with everything.
When we bought our house it had a kitchen fitted out with Gaggenau appliances, which are supposedly a top brand and very high end (and expensive). I don't think they are that great products as after about 2 years our new fridge broke, and a major part had to be replaced (under warranty so that was okay) and then on the weekend the built in microwave stopped working. We booked a callout from their technician, and for some reason he always comes really early - today the appointment was booked for a 6am to 9am callout, and he arrived at 6am on the dot! Unfortunately it needs some new part that is not in stock in this country at the moment, so it can only get fixed in 2 week's time. We always get excellent service from their service department but I would never choose to fit these appliances as they are not reliable, especially given the price of them.
I managed to book my appointment at the specialist dermatologist for the patch testing - the middle of March was the first appointment I could get, but thankfully the creams I have been prescribed are helping clear up the eczema.
It was a day of catch up with laundry, grocery shopping and other errands, and I am still busy editing the photos from yesterdays workshop. Tomorrow I need to start choosing images to be printed as after 18months of PDI images for our camera club competitions, we are going back to print competitions. The first thing I had to do is order a Spyder to calibrate my monitor as my images are always too dark when printed.
Tonight is the last of our PDI competitions, so its another zoom meeting for camera club which suits me fine.
The Mono Monday challenge this week is still life, and as it was so dull and grey today it was a good day for doing an indoor shot
