The Birdwatcher

Had a good day on our regular walk from Newton Abbott Quay to Hackney Marshes and along the Stover Canal. We always start off with coffee at the Passage House Inn, which is grateful for our custom. It is a smashing pub. You can watch birds from inside as it overlooks the waters which flow into the Teign. We saw a kingfisher at four locations, and added a bullfinch, goosander, and sandpiper to our 2022 list. It was a dull and cold day though.
