After years, I’m finally throwing out a lot of old crap from my filing cabinet. Endowment policies cashed in in 1994? Check. Guarantees for a damp proofing that expired in 2009? Check. Instruction manuals for equipment I don’t have? Oh yes. Guides on claiming tax credits in 2004. You got it. It was all in a tidy pile or two, but now the cat has got to it. A pile for shredding, and a pile for recycling. The cat may help with the former.
