Very 1990s

Originally a holder for the 1990s phones, this one was given to my aunt I her 90s for my brother’s gift of a mobile phone. Early in 2000, he phoned her from Canada and she was delighted to have a long call and catch up on all the family news. She did tell me that she had received the call in the bathroom so I imagine she was perched on the only seat available to her. 

Alas neither of them knew that by the 27th January he would be dead aged 51. 
So the holder is now pressed into use for glasses as I seem to be constantly changing them.
