I'm a Half Marathon Runner!

So today was half marathon day ...

I really enjoyed it, something I never thought I would say! The weather was just right not too cold, not too hot, but the sun was out and the Forest of Dean was looking lovely as the miles passed by.

There were a few steep hills and the last one nearly finished me off! But I overtook people and was really enjoying it upto about 11miles and then it started to hurt.

But I finished in 2hrs 13mins, very pleased with that, its the same time that I finished my 13mile training run in and that was flat, got the medal to show for my efforts too.

One happy and tired runner, big thanks to A for talking me into it and to R for keeping us company :)
