The Boathouse

It seems like ages since I have had a wander around Dubh Loch and blipped "my old friend" the boathouse.

I get so much out of photographing this building and its surroundings.

It reminded me of an article I read a while ago about the Slow Photography Movement which champions the idea of taking time over the shot, enjoying the experience, lingering longer and getting to know the place.

When I come here I think I have a pretty good idea what they are saying.
