Black Woodpeckers

Two Black Woodpeckers just before it started to snow, ..... again :-(.

We were searching open water, but we didn't find any big holes in the ice cover. There was 2 Ganada Goose in the middle of ice just wondering where they had arrived. I think I read in their bill "It was a great mistake to come here, there is something wrong in my calendar".
