Gateway

Along the lane where we are staying there is open countryside and old buildings.  You know I like looking at buildings and at the junction there is this gateway.  A mixture of brick, stone and flint.  Unless you have chalk in your area flint walls and flint houses this is a rare site, but in Kent it is commonly found.  The door is solid.  There isn't any information on the circle to its right, but certainly caught my eye.  Thanks for comments.  It is my grandson's birthday today so we're off to a wildlife park-should be good fun and plenty photo opportunities.  I'll answer as soon as I can.  Have a good day.
