Summer Song

Every couple of weeks we take a trip to the marina to check that our boat is still happy. Being a rather elderly yacht the side windows and hatches can spring a leak at any moment and start letting the Scottish weather arrive inside the boat. Adding sealant is fine but eventually they will need a more permanent, time consuming and/or expensive solution. Today all was well and the dehumidifier and oil filled radiator were doing their job. We also took back the dinghy which has been half filling our garage while it had it's valves serviced, so that seems like progress. That's it bundled up on the foredeck. It's the time of year when we start on the long list of jobs to do and things to get before the start of the sailing season, which is all part of the fun of boat ownership.
