Treated myself

I love blue hyacinths and as soon as I see them in the shops I have to buy them.  When they have finished flowering they go out in the garden and I now have quite a collection dotted about.
Cold miserable day, so I treated the ladies to a huge bread and butter pudding after their carrot, ginger and orange soup.  Left over portions taken home by one of them.  Comfort food so necessary on these dull days.
They approved of the decorating so far.
