Definitely past their best now....

But I had to try to get shots of them before they were finally thrown out. They're still lovely. There's something quite epic about dying flowers.

Kids are packing up for the journey home which leaves me with a bit if tidying up to do and a meal to cook for me and himself. The weekend has been brightened by sunshine and blue skies. They make all the difference. We even managed to sit in the back garden for a while.
