Plans altered this morning as I was getting ready to go riding. Between Basil, Hubs, a small bouncy rubber ball and too much barking with excitement , Basil swallowed the ball ! Chat with vet was precise, get him down here now and we’ll induce a vomit before it can cause a potential intestinal blockage. One injection, and 5 mins later breakfast and ball were returned ( in the alleyway beside the vets - easier to hose down apparently)! Poor little dog was. Sick on and off for next 20 mins and he felt sorry for himself for a few hours -see extra. Then ping , full bounce ( pun intended ) back . See extra .
Silver lining was riding rescheduled for the best part of the day .
