Up Castle Hill

Uncle Charles and Auntie Kirsty came to visit us today. We had lunch in the Boathouse and then went a walk up Castle Hill. It's official name is Bar Hill, but we have never called it that. The Antonine Wall runs along it and there's a Roman fort at the top. Ed got a great shot of all of his and has put it on his blip. Orla had lots of fun playing games with Charles and Kirsty and Conor decided that he was hungry so I had to feed him. We came back down the Twechar side and walked back to the Boathouse along the canal. It's at least three miles all in, and Orla walked the whole way (with a bit of bribery using Maltesers!). I carried Conor in the Ergobaby and it was very comfortable for the duration. Home-made pizza for tea in the evening and then an "awake" night for Conor.
