The Spartus 35

A snowstorm has dropped six inches of snow here, and it is much too cold for a walk today. I think it will be harder to come up with daily photos for awhile.

I mentioned in my bio that I am a camera collector, and I have acquired several interesting items over the years. A friend gave me this Spartus 35 film camera made by the Herold Products Company in Chicago, Illinois during the late 1950’s. This camera is a very basic model made of Bakelite plastic. The camera is in good shape, considering that it is approximately 65 years old. The shutter fires, and everything seems to work as it should. I will have to run some film through this thing at some point to see what it can do, but I will keep my expectations low.
