Buttermere

We parked at Gatesgarth farm and walked round Buttermere, calling in at  the cafe there, Croft House Farm for a Sausage barm and a coffee. Delicious. 
It was very windy today and not really suitable for going high up. It was pretty windy in places round the Lake, with really choppy water , but much calmer in little sheltered pockets along the shore.
The photo was taken looking back towards the Buttermere pines , but again dull light characterised the day.
In other news my camera has died, well is sleeping deeply anyway. I've had a few problems with the flap over the card getting stuck, now the whole camera is completely unresponsive. Also some of today's photos had a sort of blueish shading on the left hand side of the image. I anticipate an expensive repair job when we get home. ( Yes I did change the lens and put a fresh battery in, it's not either of those things.)
