Latte?

A beautiful day, but - sod's law - today we were scheduled to return home, with a stop-off for the next event in the series of Wednesday afternoon cross-country runs. The latter took place on the NT's Blickling estate - all firm paths, not much mud & definitely no streams to cross. A good afternoon for it, but we'd have liked some of that sun for our walks on the previous days!

Before we left the campsite I investigated some large logs - actually sections of a tree trunk, laid horizontally - as I'd noticed quite a collection of fungi on some of them. The Blip shows one of them, side-lit by the early morning sun and impersonating frothy coffee.
