A 2 Minute Sky

Off to the shop early doors (no liver today which was a bit disappointing).
As I pulled up at the house there was a slash in the sky showing some colour, so I dived into the house, grabbed the camera and managed to get 2 shots before the fast moving clouds repaired the rip.

The new bandsaw arrived today.
Slightly bigger than the other one and a bugger to put together - not helped by the part numbers in the written instructions not marrying up with the diagrams, an inordinate number of different sized screws, bolts, spanners and allen keys and a shortage of bolt and washer (only one I am glad to say).
But it is up and running and appears to cut.

We had a call from down south this evening - Our ray of sunshine was in for an operation a couple of days ago on her ear to hopefully improve her hearing. 
The operation went well, but the aftercare/discharge was a bit of a disaster with people going to get and arrange things and never coming back.
However, she had to go back in yesterday because of the constant bleeding (an good thing apparently) which was causing problems as she wasn't given any extra gauze or bandages.
She seems to be  doing fine today though and was very chipper on the phone.
Hopefully everything will be fine.
