Thoughts at lunchtime

At last, some sunshine. Only a little but for long enough to feel cheered and a hint of warmth on my face.

I went out once today, at lunchtime. I walked past these big, old, gnarled oak trees - as I do most days. It’s hard not to respect them. They have lived through more than me and are tougher and wiser, and more giving.

I’m having an early night, it’s dark and cold and I think a bath and a read of a book in bed are calling.

Hope you’ve had a good day.
