Frogs Legs

In science we have been learning about life-cycles this week we have been looking at the life-cycle of the frog yesterday my group of children ( the lower ability) glued in pictures in the correct order and then today they had to write a simple sentence about 1 of the different parts of the cycle one of the little girls wrote 'A frog has leg' I asked 'Does your frog only have 1 leg?' she said 'No it's got 4' I sounded out the word l-e-g-s 'So what do we need to make it more than 1 leg' she went away and then came back to show me what she had written, she had written the word leg 4 times instead of the letter 's' me and the teacher did chuckle made our day.
