Under Attack
A wonderful day spent at RSPB Lodmoor with a friend I've not seen in years! It was so good to catch up (and she made the most fantastic butternut squash and sweet potato soup :))
Lodmoor itself was great, too. I'd hoped to see lapwing and they were there in abundance. I also saw my first ever water rail and my closest sighting so far of a spoonbill. And I witness this heron being dive bombed by gulls - not seen that happen before either! Happy days :)) A few others, including the spoonbill, in extras.

Thanks very much for all the great comments, stars and hearts for yesterday's 'Tulip'!
Ann :))
