Another Blue Sky Day

And a very cold 27F/-2.7C when we woke up this morning! It stayed quite cold all day. I had a pleasant time with my mom - she napped, we played word games and had lunch, followed by a rousing couple games of backgammon - she beat me badly the first time! She can really no longer set up the board or find the dice, but she knows her moves! 

I went for a walk when I got home and wasn't really inspired by anything but the blue sky. So took a photo of this Fatsia japonica 'Spider Web' which is thriving in my front door container. Hardy here, it will get rather large in the garden. I think it will be fine in a container!
