It's life Jim but not as we know it

Another almost Springlike day so we headed out to Hadrian's Wall, which is 15 miles or so from here. Grace, Ophelia and Hubby walked up to the wall itself and then all of us went on the path around to Walltown where we had a picnic lunch and the girls tried to feed the ducks , though I think most every visitor must do the same so the ducks were nonplussed. After lunch and another little walk, we visited the Roman Army Museum. It's been massively renovated since we last visited several years ago. The girls enjoyed the 3D movie and Arwen seemed entranced too, though blew a few long and loud raspberries at various points. In the gift shop the girls were able to spend some of their pocket money. Grace bought a roman letter writing kit. Ophelia decided upon a plastic sword... Hmmm.
The title of the blip is of course a song lyric as this scenery reminded me of many scenes from a popular sci Fi show ....
