But the only one I took today.

Martin called out while I was still in bed to say that there was a flag raising ceremony on first thing so we watched that together. And witnessed 19 people receiving their Australian citizenship from PM Scott Morrison. Across Australia, there were thousands who received their citizenship today.

Then we headed to Bunnings to get a few things to finish projects. Got a handyman coming on Friday, so wanted to have everything here for him.

Back home to pick the boys up and head to Bruce and Jenny, only at the end Martin decided he wasn’t joining us!

Never mind, we carried on and as it started to rain quite heavily, plans were changed and we ended up at one of their daughter’s home.

We had lunch and played games, and had a nice time with the family.

We did thankfully manage to have some yummy lamb cutlets for dinner made by Martin on the BBQ :). Very nice indeed.

It’s going to be a very rainy week, but good as it keeps the temps down. Apparently this summer has been extremely mild! We’re not complaining ….
