This afternoon after a rather unpleasant visit to the dentist and before going to see Mum I met up with my U3A photography group. It was our bi- monthly outing to catch up and take photos. The venue was Waverley - the Victorian train station in the centre of Edinburgh. As it was a grey overcast day the light was quite gloomy. This was one of my favourites- one of the the ornate skylights in the waiting room. Using my Nikon in low light made me realise that one of the advantages of it is that changing settings such as shutter speed actually makes a difference to the image on the monitor which is useful! I’ve added a few others and one of the finished quilt as well:)
Mum was quite cheery which is good :)
