Twirl

I have been looking for a subject to use as a CD cover for an upcoming release. It's been a difficult one because of the South African/Norwegian/Britsih line-up, recorded in Winter. I wanted to find a subject with cloudy skies and an African style pattern, but nothing too obvious. I saw this sculpture in Watford (of all places) and have been waiting for the right sky, this morning's was a doisy. I've just given the metal a quick emboss for blip, but will have to work on the texture and colours if it needs to progress. It looks a lot better in publish resolution but you get the idea. Will show the client (husband, away touring now) the idea before I put in the work!
