Chambers Encyclopedia

Now that son number one has moved out, we've been able to re-use his bedroom as a study, which has meant that we have been able to move some of our book collection out of storage.

This magnificent encyclopedia is 140 years old and was a purchase from the wonderful Petersfield Book Shop a few years ago that got me into heaps of trouble.  I had thought I would have been praised for such a wonderful buy, but it seems their beauty and knowledge is not shared by everyone!

One that I know Droopy Drawers will admire.
