Mundane

Mr C is my potato peeler.
A mundane job which I don’t enjoy.

We are having our bedroom decorated, as well as buying a new bed and carpet.
So today we went in search of a bed.
I think this is one of the most difficult pieces of furniture to buy.
Have tried various types, and eventually decided on a Harrison- Spinks. Made locally in Leeds.
Delivery 6/8 weeks so will try and fit in the decorator just before.
We have also chosen the carpet, but fortunately they only need a week’s notice.

There was a gentleman on the news last night who was celebrating his 100th birthday with his daily bike ride.
Asked if he would be taking it easy, he replied,
“ Two much rest becomes rust.”
Made me laugh!
