We went to the garden centre today for “brefee”, a new word meaning a cross between breakfast and coffee. We had already had our breakfast at 7am and this was at 9.30am. My husband ordered a pancake stack with bacon and maple syrup, and two plates, so that I could pinch a couple of pancakes and some maple syrup!
