Getting lighter

5.15pm and that’s the sun just going down, so good when you see the light lasting that bit longer.

We used to feel fairly rural where I live but virtually all the fields round us have either had houses built, are currently building or have ground works going on so they will be breaking ground soon. I get quite depressed by it all.

These fields where I have walked for about 40 years are all being built on at the moment, but this pylon is the only thing saving this little corner of the field. They are not allowed to build past the pylon and power lines so for the time being we still have some field to walk on.
