Moss

Another productive day in the K household today!
Up early and straight onto my hands and knees to scrub the kitchen floor.
With neat bleach.
Not unlike the Little Misses' bedrooms it had gone past the point that a mop would do the job.....
I would be ashamed to admit how disgustingly filthy it was.
Very disgustingly!
But now it's sparkly white.
Who the hell puts white lino in a kitchen?
The kind of people who put blue shag pile carpet in a dining room!!
For those who don't know, we live in a rented house!
Then it was straight out into the garden to christen our new garden waste bin. A lovely couple of hours out in the sunshine and it is now full to the brim of thorns, brambles, branches, last year's tomato plants - the greenhouse is now all ready for this year's crop! I got a bit over enthusiastic with the secateurs and massacred a few of the shrubs but if there's one thing our garden knows how to do it's to grow wildly and uncontrollably so I'm sure all will be well!
Then we took the Little Misses swimming which was fun.
Although I did have to drag Mr K away from an altercation with another dad. He was swimming underwater in the baby pool like a torpedo and kicked me and - far more rage-inducing - Miss L.
Mr K was furious and told him to be more careful. Very unlike Mr K.
After some heated exchanges I dragged Mr K away when the other bloke taunted "if you got summat to say mate why don't yer bring it outside......"
Seriously! In a baby pool holding children!!!
It's normally me getting in rows with people! What's wrong with us?!!!!!
