A long and busy day yesterday as we went up to the midlands after the aborted trip in December. Whilst driving back down the M1 l suggested to M that we should go out for a meal rather than cook. Aren't mobile phones wonderful things? I rang up and secured the last table in our local Italian tratt.
A terrific feeling of normalcy as we sat having a delicious meal in a packed restaurant.

Today's blip has nothing to do with either the trip or the meal but is a close up of a tulip from a bunch we were given last weekend by son and dil No 2.
