Kingsbarns Beach
Up a bit earlier than usual today to meet Catriona and her dogs Eilidh and Hecta at Cambo for a walk.
We walked through the gardens, down through the wood to the beach, then along the beach towards Kingsbarns. There was lovely foamy surf and quite a lot of noise from the sea. It was a fine day for walking although a touch cold. We walked back the way we came and, at the top of the woodland, we met the sow and her piglets walking towards us. (Extra). She was inside the fence, but her piglets were on the path. When she saw the dogs she speeded up to give us a good warning. The piglets weren’t at all afraid of us or the dogs. Eilidh just stared and licked her lips, so we turned around and beat a hasty retreat, up to the cafe where we enjoyed cheese scones and hot drinks before we headed home.
On the way home I stopped at the co-op for some shopping then popped into the pet shop for treats for Geordie and a good blether with Jo.
Stopped at chemist for my script, but they had got it all wrong again. Managed to stay calm since there were other customers, but phoned up, once home, to try to sort it out. Just don’t know how they can make so many mistakes.
Anyway, warm house, cuppa, good music, and I feel calmer.
