Puddle

Daily stroll. 11C and pleasant enough. Down to the Pier, through the Gardens, past the tennis courts … and avoided this large puddle (blipped) nearby.

Mr B just made me spaghetti all’aglio, olio e peperoncini. Meraviglioso :).

House of Fraser today announced they’re closing, expected for sometime. Sad for the employees, but otherwise no big loss. Like Debenhams and Beales (both gone), it was depressing and well past its sell by. The question is what will replace these empty spaces in town.

The centre could be fabulous. if we only had Continental style brasseries with heated terraces, small excellent independent food and other retailers - and more culture (a Tate Modern please).
