Perth Ice Rink
The Morton Trophy is a Scottish Curling competition held for women curlers. Ice rinks play in sections (north, south, east, and west) and the winners go on to represent their area in the finals. The format is designed to encourage lots of women to get involved. Ideally, each rink should have different teams to play against each opponent but not all ice rinks have enough available players. The west section is currently made up of 5 rinks - Lanarkshire, Braehead, Perth, Waterfront, and Greenacres. Our game against Perth today ended in one win (18-4) and one loss (5-7). We are currently sitting top of our section but some rinks still have games to play.
It would be great to make the finals this year as they will be held in Hamilton on 8 March.
I should say, I was on the losing team :-(
