Goodbye builders

Dropped Phin at daycare just before 9 and headed over to the house. We had many plans today to take all the packaging to the recycling centre, pick up some shopping and start cleaning the kitchen! We got 2 out of the 3 ticked off but the kitchen cleaning will be undertaken this weekend.

Mr PHL (who is now allowed to come out of isolation) nipped to the kitchen warehouse to pick up the one remaining item that wasn’t delivered - a decor panel and when the skirting boards come into stock, the builder will be back to fit them and finish off.
Just need the electrician to confirm he’s coming next week and I’ll be able to use my dishwasher!

At the warehouse Mr PHL picked up 3 tester pots for paint but none of them work so I’ve been trawling through colour charts to see if I can find anything that might look good. So far, no luck.

Miss PHL needed to come home to collect her passport as she is heading to Barcelona for a few days on Sunday with 3 friends. We took the opportunity to go out for dinner to the pub in Roslin. Delicious but huge portions so I’m stuffed!
