It's my granddaughter's birthday on Tuesday - she will be 2 - so the pressure is building. We had a picnic today with some of her friends and her parents friends which ended up with her walking around with a fairy tutu complete with wings over her jacket, complete with a hat and wellington boots. It was cold. But it was good fun for everyone. Before the outdoor event we went into a few (child-oriented) shops and this pile of animal masks caught my eye. I thought they made a nice splash of colour on what has otherwise been another dull day.
