Queen of the South

OK even by my standards this one is a bit obscure.

For those of you who are not avid Queen of the South supporters (and I acknowledge there may be some............ in far-flung distant parts of the world) Queen of the South is a football team based at Palmerston Park in Dumfries, SW Scotland.

They have already won the Scottish league Div. 2, having only lost one match all season with only 5 matches to go. Today they won the Challenge Cup beating Partick Thistle in the final, having already knocked out the likes of Greenock Morton and Glasgow Rangers in earlier rounds.

So this picture taken last week in North Berwick High Street does indeed proclaim the sweet news from Palmerston that Queen of the South does indeed now deliver
