Frensham Big Pond

Given that the sun was shining we decide a walk around Frensham Pond (Big Pond or Small Pond we weren't fussy) was in order. Half of Farnham must have thought the same as all the free parking spots were taken. We would have paid to park but unless you have the phone and app to match forget it, so we back tracked to the main road and parked in a suitable spot. We then walked up the path that connects to the ridge that passes between the two ponds. It's actually a nice walk because you get a bird's eye view of both ponds. It was a bit blowy up there but, surprisingly, not very cold. We stood and watched the sailors from Frensham Pond Sailing Club manoeuvre their dinghies around the pond - some more expertly than others. There were a couple of capsizes whilst we watched. By the time we were back home the sun had done a disappearing act.
