Prunings
Pruned the apple tree today, a job that has been put off for too many seasons. Last year we lost 95% of the blossom to a late frost and the year before had lots of rotten fruit. Pruned out a lot of crossing branches, diseased wood and long branches with no fruiting spurs.
Everything that would fit went through the shredder and the wood chip bin grew by about 250 litres. There’s probably 100kg plus of stuff too big for our shredder that will be logged and stacked for those folk who live in the north. I will try to remember to blip the apples if we get any....
