Flypast

This morning I did the Big Garden Birdwatch. Only six species turned up but as Storm Malik was blowing it probably made a difference. I then had a day of jobs and piano practice before going for a blowy walk to the castle.

Someone had thrown food down for the ducks and other birds and I was photographing them.  Suddenly a mother took her child right up to them which made them scatter. Luckily I caught this mallard as it flew past.
