Rose detail

We said goodbye to my husbands friend this morning and then I set about getting my camera equipment organised for an outing tomorrow.  A small group from the camera club are going out with a local professional photographer for the day covering coastal landscape.  Should be fun.

Todays blip is from the flowers we were given.  I thought the patterns of the bracts and petals were rather nice but when seen in this detail you realise that you need a specimen in a perfect condition.  They do look lovely in the vase though.
